Over 10,000 Jinhua Hams Sunbathe in Zhejiang



In the workshop of Zhejiang Laotang Ham Food Co., Ltd. located in Huayuan Village, Dongyang City, in China’s southeastern Zhejiang province, the first batch of over 10,000 Jinhua hams made after the onset of cold weather bask in the sun.

Hams need sun-curing for over one week to give them a better shape, color and taste.

The sun-curing yard stages a spectacular scene at this time each year.

Since the firm’s birth, its Dongyang hams have found favor with many loyal fans, including famed Hong Kong culinary writer Chua Lam.
