(Yicai Global) Dec. 12 -- Pangolin-Robot Heavy Industry Kunshan Co., a leading Chinese maker of industrial and service robots, is partnering with Japan’s University of Electro-Communications and others to develop the Japanese market, while Nagasaki's Dutch theme park is interested in buying its catering service robots.
Prices of the robots start from JPY500,000 (USD4,334), according to a report in the Japanese business daily Nihon Keizai Shimbun. The restaurant at the Huis Ten Bosch theme park already 'employs' robot cooks and ushers.
