(Yicai Global) Aug. 4 -- Cendes Co. [SHE:300492], an architectural design firm headquartered in Chengdu in West China's Sichuan province, plans to buy a Shenzhen-based cross-border e-commerce business.

Cendes said in a statement yesterday that it will purchase a 100-percent stake in Shenzhen Sellmore Electronic Commerce Co.

Cendes said it has signed letters of intent with the target enterprise and key counterparts to the deal and held discussions with those other parties regarding the details of the framework agreement.

The statement did not mention how the acquisition will benefit Cendes.

Sellmore is a cross-border e-commerce group specializing in electronic components, apparel and accessories exports.
