(Yicai Global) June 11 -- China’s securities regulator has agreed a deal with its Iranian counterpart to work strengthen bilateral cooperation in the stocks and bonds sector as well as the futures market.
China Securities Regulatory Commission signed a memorandum of understanding with the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) at a meeting which was attended by both countries’ leaders and held in Qingdao in China’s eastern Shandong province.
The agreement marks a new stage in the cooperation between Chinese and Iranian securities and futures regulators, the CSRC said on its website.
The regulator has 68 similar agreements with institutions in some 62 countries and regions.
