(Yicai Global) Nov. 23 -- China has culled some 600,000 pigs as of Nov. 22, authorities confirm, adding that restrictions have been lifted in 24 affectedareas spanning seven provinces across the country.

The outbreaks have been generally controllable, the country's agricultural ministry said in a statement.
