(Yicai Global) Feb. 20 -- As many regular routes have been canceled, China Eastern Airlines's charter flight service that was kicked off yesterday has logged demand from over 8,000 passengers for nearly 60 flights to places such as Bangkok, Kashgar, and Hangzhou, the Shanghai-based firm said in a statement today.
China Eastern Airlines's stock price [SHA:600115] climbed 1.6 percent to CNY5 (US 71 cents) by 2.10 p.m.
