(Yicai Global) April 16 -- Four Chinese cities have been included in a list of the 10 priciest places for buying homes globally.
Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing are among the 10 most expensive cities by average house price, according to the latest report from real estate services and investment firm CBRE Group.
Hong Kong tops the list with an average of CNY8.3 million (USD1.2 million) while Shanghai comes in third with CNY5.9 million. Shenzhen and Beijing claim the fifth and ninth spots with CNY4.6 million and CNY4.2 million, respectively.
Singapore ranks second with CNY5.9 million, while New York comes seventh at CNY4.5 million. London follows with CNY4.3 million.
Hong Kong was the only Chinese city ranked in the top 10 by average rent, ranking third with CNY18,600 (USD2,772.8) a month. New York tops the list with CNY19,100.
