(Yicai Global) Nov. 27 -- Chinese stock markets closed slightly lower today, but technology shares swam up the falls to log impressive gains.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,903.19, down 0.13 percent. The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.3 percent to 9,648.39 at the bell. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen-listed growth enterprises, edged down 0.28 percent to end at 1,674.39.

Technology shares rose about 3 percent, however.
