(Yicai Global) October 24 -- Contemporary Amperex Technology, the world's biggest electric vehicle battery maker, has brought plastic manufacturer Silver Age Sci&Tech on board as a fixed supplier of powertrain battery shells.

Silver Age's Suzhou unit has penned a deal with CATL for the supply, the Guangdong-based firm said in a statement.

The company did not disclose any further details such as product specifications, contract size, and potential income from the deal.
