(Yicai Global) April 13 -- Stock markets on China's mainland opened lower this morning as investors opted to warm the bench as the worldwide coronavirus pandemic continues to unfold.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.43 percent weaker at 2,784.80, while the Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.71 percent at 10,225.53.
The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, started the day off 1.03 percent lower at 1,929.80.
