(Yicai Global) April 20 - China’s three benchmark stock indexes rose further in the morning session after opening higher today.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed for lunch 0.3 percent higher at 2,847.13, while the Shenzhen Component Index finished 0.61 percent up at 10,591.71. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, ended the morning 0.96 percent stronger at 2,040.09.

The Shanghai benchmark had opened 0.07 percent higher at 2,840.41 and the Shenzhen index began up 0.24 percent at 10,553.55. The ChiNext started the day up 0.35 percent at 2,027.84.
