(Yicai Global) Nov. 28 -- The central parity rate of the Chinese yuan dropped 37 basis points to 6.9500 against the US dollar today, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System. This is third day the redback has flagged this week.

The dollar index ended up at 97.39 point on 9.10 p.m. US eastern time yesterday, rising three days in a row to hit a two-week high, data from the Dow Jones & Company website MarketWatch show.
