(Yicai Global) April 16 -- China's mainland stock markets rebounded today with tech shares leading the way as the ChiNext Price Index climbed to its highest in a month.

The ChiNext, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, ended 1.56 percent stronger at 2,008.39, its highest level since March 16. The Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.31 percent to 2,819.94. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.51 percent to 10,470.79.
