(Yicai Global) Aug. 28 -- The 2017 China International General Aviation Convention held in Xian in China’s north-central Shaanxi province has landed smoothly.
It yielded 35 deals struck for projects with a total value of USD520 million (CNY3.46 billion), up 16.2 percent from the last conference.
The four-day conference was held from Aug. 24, with 754 booths and 3,047 exhibits, including high-end aviation devices and products such as fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, rotorcraft, drones and aircraft engines, xiancity.cn reported. A total of 66 aircraft from 27 manufacturers in China, the US, France and Germany took part.
The contracted projects cover complete aircraft manufacturing, aircraft sales agents, aircraft engine manufacturing and component processing.
A combined 643 enterprises and government organizations from over 20 countries participated in various events at the conference, with the crowd reaching 60,000 person-times.
The China International General Aviation Convention, founded in 2009, occurs once every two years in Xian. It is the largest brand expo in the general aviation field in China.
