(Yicai Global) Jan. 20 – The Xiaojuchefu car service unit of Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing booked an average 450,000 orders for fuel refilling and electricity charging per day last year, the firm announced today.

Xiaojuchefu hired out over 500,000 vehicles last year, with a rental rate of over 80 percent, said Yang Jun, the firm's deputy general manager. The company also cooperates with more than 39 insurers to provide coverage to nearly 450,000 vehicles.

Beijing-based Didi spun off its car service platform in August 2018 to set up Xiaojuchefu, which straddles a range of businesses, including car rentals, maintenance, charging and insurance.
