(Yicai Global) Jan. 22 -- Smart flying robot developer Beijing Cool High Technology Co. has completed tens of millions of yuan pre-A-Round financing, which will mainly go to researching and developing flying car prototypes and expanding its technical staff, internet media 36 Kr reported.

This Beijing-based startup is a high-tech enterprise that provides city transport vehicles. The investor in this funding round is Zhi He Travel Technology Co.

Set up in 2016, Cool High Technology is dedicated to using science and technology to improve the air quality of cities in the future. It is working to develop smart autonomous flying robots and amphibious vehicles.

The company's first group of clients encompasses universities, scientific research institutions and the research and development departments of technology enterprises, said founder Ma Gang. The firm, which will customize smart flying robots per clients' needs, has already received expressions of interest and may realize supply of small batches of goods for industry clients this year, he anticipates.
