(Yicai Global) Nov. 16 -- Zhang Minhui, former chief marketing officer (CMO) of Leshi Internet Information & Technology (Beijing) Co. [SHE:300104], has joined Qihoo 360 Technology Co., to serve as vice president for operation management, online sci-tech media outlet Touchweb reported.
Zhang Minhui formally joined Leshi in June 2014 as the CMO responsible for establishing Leshi’s marketing system. He resigned for “personal reasons,” Leshi announced on Oct. 27.
Qihoo 360 Technology has been delisted from the New York Stock Exchange in July 2016. Its asset swap and injection deal with SJEC Corporation [SHA:601313] for backlisting on China’s A-share market awaits regulator’s approval. SJEC’s stock price rose by 61 percent at the close of trading on Nov. 14. Leshi has not resumed trading since its suspension due to major assets restructuring in April.
Before joining Leshi in 2014, Zhang Minhui was the main name in the marketing team of Sohu.com, Inc. [NASDAQ:SOHU], after which he acted as the CMO of information platform 3g.cn affiliated to Sungy Mobile Ltd.
