(Yicai Global) Nov. 4 -- Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. [SHE: 002202] will provide products and services to a US-based wind power plant operator via its US subsidiary.
The Chinese wind power giant said Nov. 2 that its wholly-owned subsidiary Goldwind USA, Inc. has signed an exclusive agreement of intent with Viridis Eolia LLC to supply turbines to Viridis Eolia's wind farm project located in Wyoming, USA with an aggregate capacity of 1870 MW, and to provide long-term maintenance services as well.
The project will adopt the company's 2.5 MW and 3.0 MW permanent magnet direct drive generators, which are slated for delivery during the 2017 to 2022 period.
Goldwind says renewable energy resources projects controlled or operated by Viridis Eolia are scattered throughout North, Central and South America and the Caribbean basin. This wind power plant project kicked off in 2010.
