(Yicai Global) Jan. 2 -- The amount of money invested in Chinese offshore equity funds hit a two-year high last week, Shanghai Securities News reported, citing statistics from investor funds flow data firm EPFR Global.
Chinese equity funds that EPFR tracked mainly include ones for Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors in China and ones backing overseas-listed Chinese stocks.
Overall, equity funds attracted a net capital inflow of USD14.3 billion, hitting a 28-week high. Bond funds received USD1.2 billion, and money market funds pulled in USD4.5 billion.
