(Yicai Global) Nov. 04 – Chinese computer giant Lenovo Group [HKG:0992] has replaced senior members of staff including its Chief Technical Officer and the heads of its data center and mobile business in China.
The former head of human resources at Lenovo Group, Qiao Jian, will succeed Chen Xudong as president of Lenovo's mobile business group in China, to oversee the company's smartphone operations department in the Chinese market.
Chen will also succeed Wang Xiaoyan as Senior President of the group, the company said Nov. 3.
Rui Yong, deputy managing director of Microsoft Research Asia has joined Lenovo as Senior President and chief technology officer, and will lead the R&D and technology teams.
Kirk Skaugen, senior vice president of Intel, has been appointed the executive vice president of Lenovo Group and president of the company's data center group.
Laura Quatela, formerly the global president and chief intellectual property officer of Kodak, has been appointed to Lenovo's senior vice presidency and will also serve as their chief legal officer.
