(Yicai Global) Oct. 9 -- Some 25 of the top 30 revenue earners on Apple Inc.’s [NASDAQ:AAPL] App Store and Google Inc.’s Google Play last month were mobile games, making up more than 80 percent of the total, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Japan-made Monster Strike and Fate/Grand Order were the two highest-earning games, respectively. Tencent Holdings Ltd.’s [HKG:0700] Arena of Valor, also known as King of Glory, came in third in the world and first in China, 36Kr reported today.
Among the top 30, eights apps were published by Chinese firms and seven of these were games. NetEase Inc.’s [NASDAQ:NTES] Fantasy Westward Journey came seventh among the top 30, and combined with Arena of Valor and Zulong Tianjin Technology Co.’s Jiuzhou Sky City 3D to make up the top three in China.
