(Yicai Global) Nov. 20 -- Shares in NavInfo have surged this morning after the digital mapmaker penned an agreement to supply high-precision maps for tech giant Huawei's driverless vehicle program.
Its share price [SHE:002405] was up 9.4 percent at CNY16.29 (USD2.32) as of 10.53 a.m., marginally below the 10 percent daily up limit.
NavInvo will supply map data and services for certain regions selected by Huawei as part of its self-driving program, the Beijing-based firm said in a statement yesterday, without disclosing financial terms of the agreement.
