(Yicai Global) May 29 -- The number of Chinese online video platform users reached 725 million by the end of last year, equalling nearly 90 percent of all internet users in the country, CCTV reported today, citing a report from the China Netcasting Services Association.
Most of these people were watching short videos, accounting for nearly 90 percent of the total. Over 11 percent of time spent online was used to watch short videos, which was the second-biggest reason to get online after instant messaging.
