(Yicai Global) Sept. 1 -- Resources Pacific Catering Management (Beijing) Co.'s Pacific Coffee brand has suspended business at its Xian Xianyang International Airport location after a customer complained online yesterday that a cockroach was in the coffee she purchased there. The company, which is a subsidiary of China Resources (Holdings) Co., said that it has set up a team to investigate the store.

Founded in Hong Kong in 1992, Pacific Coffee was acquired by China Resources (Holdings) Co. subsidiary China Resources Enterprise Ltd. [HK:0291] in 2010, becoming its only coffee chain brand. Pacific Coffee entered the mainland Chinese market in 2011. It has shops in mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau and Malaysia.
