(Yicai Global) Sept. 20 -- Companies' registration has finished for the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) slated to start Nov. 5 in Shanghai. The number of registrants has greatly exceeded expectations. These companies will bring world-leading innovation and quality brand products to Chinese consumers.
Qualcomm, a US multinational semiconductor and telecommunications equipment maker headquartered in San Diego, California, plans to fully demonstrate its innovative technologies, product portfolios and solutions in 5G, artificial intelligence, mobile connectivity, and Internet of Things, as well as its collaboration with Chinese governments and companies, said Zhao Bin, the firm's senior vice president.
China is one of Qualcomm's most important markets and is playing an increasingly key part in the company's global business development, he said.
The company will continue to increase its investment in and support of the Chinese market in future, and seek common development with the country's semiconductor, IoT, Big Data, AI, augmented reality, virtual reality and many other sectors.
