(Yicai Global) Nov. 11 -- Shanghai's transport police recently pulled two bike-sharing operators over the coals for disorderly docks.
The police held talks with Beijing Mobike Technology Co. on Oct. 24 and Nov. 3 about disorganized docking points. They also held a disciplinary meeting with managers at Ofo Bicycle Co. over crosswalk obstructions caused by docks.
China is one of the world's biggest bicycle-sharing markets. The ubiquitous bikes have become hugely popular with city commuters. Pioneers such as Mobike and Ofo have raised hundreds of millions of dollars, while new entrants including Ubike, Hellobike and Qi Bei, backed by Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., have also recently arrived on the scene.
