(Yicai Global) June 9 -- Some Covid-19 vaccine development projects the Shenzhen government supports have entered the animal testing stage, a city official said in a local TV broadcast today.

The tech and manufacturing hub on Hong Kong's doorstep has set aside a CNY68.5 million (USD9.7 million) fund for 21 Covid-19-related medicine and vaccine research and development projects, said Liang Yongsheng, director of Shenzhen's Science, Technology and Innovation Commission.
