(Yicai Global) Sept. 18 -- Chinese internet giant Tencent Holdings Ltd.'s [HK:0700] health management platform Doctorwork said that its offline clinic has made its way into Beijing and it expects to open next month. Doctorwork has also established clinics in Chengdu and Shenzhen.
The offline clinic will soon offer medical, surgical, dental, rehabilitation, psychological counseling, dermatology, and other services, and provide door-to-door services as well as family doctor services, and in the future, it will also provide medical room services for enterprises and learning, 36Kr reported on Sept. 15.
Doctorwork connected to other high-quality Chinese clinics through independent clinic management research and development systems, and cooperated with physician social service platform Medlinker to build an alliance and share doctor resources. Medlinker has 430,000 registered doctors.
Doctorwork is an Internet+Medical platform jointly funded by Tencent, Medlinker and Sequoia Capital China. Doctorwork's development will be divided into three parts -- the clinic's construction, the clinic alliance and clinic sharing, said Wang Shirui, the platform's chief executive.
Doctorwork's medical system will include an app, online and offline portfolios of medical hardware products, clinics, and Tencent's social software QQ and WeChat.
