Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") held its third meeting on January 3, 2025

At the eighteenth meeting of the board of directors, the "Proposal on the Election of the Co-Chairman of the Third Board of Directors of the Company" was deliberated and passed, and the specific situation is hereby announced as follows:

1. Election of the co-chairman of the third board of directors

According to the relevant provisions of the company's newly revised Articles of Association and the actual situation of the company, in order to further improve the corporate governance structure and promote the standardization of the work of the board of directors, the board of directors of the company has added 1 co-chairman. All directors unanimously agreed to elect Ms. Gao Haichun (see the attached resume for details) as the co-chairman of the third board of directors of the company, and the term of office will be from the date of deliberation and approval of the board of directors to the date of expiration of the third board of directors of the company.

2. The impact of this election on the company

Mr. Gao Jifan, chairman of the company, has been deeply involved in the industry for many years, focusing on scientific and technological innovation and sustainable development of the industry, and will continue to serve as the chairman, executive director and general manager of the company, and guide the company's overall strategic planning and operation management with his forward-looking industry insights and rich industry experience and management capabilities.

The company has established a new solution business group, focusing on serving the company's business philosophy of "scenario-based and customer-centric", continuously gaining insight into customer needs, providing one-stop smart energy solutions for centralized and distributed application scenarios, and at the same time committed to the construction and promotion of new application scenarios such as "new microgrid" and "zero-carbon park", so as to explore new development directions for the industry. Ms. Gao Haichun, Co-Chairman of the Company, will also serve as the President of the Company's Solution Business Group, and is committed to leading the company's transformation from a photovoltaic product manufacturer to photovoltaic energy storage and smart energy

The transformation of a solution service provider leads the development of new scenarios of optical storage integration and helps the company build differentiated competitive advantages. This election will better execute the company's strategic blueprint and build a sustainable new energy system. At the same time, Ms. Gao Haichun will assist the chairman in carrying out the daily work of the board of directors after serving as the co-chairman of the company, ensure that the work of the board of directors is carried out in a standardized manner and play a strategic guiding role.

University, bachelor's degree. Since June 2017, he has successively served as the Deputy General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department of Trina Solar Co., Ltd. and the Chairman of Trina Fujia Energy Co., Ltd. He has served as a director of Trina Solar Co., Ltd. since June 2024. Since December 2024, he has served as President of Trina Solar's Solutions Business Group.

Ms. Gao Haichun has a father-daughter relationship with Mr. Gao Jifan, the controlling shareholder and actual controller of the Company, a mother-daughter relationship with Ms. Wu Chunyan, a shareholder who holds more than 5% of the company's shares, a concerted action relationship with Jiangsu Panji Investment Co., Ltd., a shareholder who holds more than 5% of the company's shares, and an uncle-nephew relationship with Mr. Gao Jiqing, a director and senior manager of the Company.
