Beijing Kingsoft Office Software Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and its subsidiary, Beijing Digital Technology Network Maintenance Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Digital Technology Network Maintenance"), recently received the Notice of Response from the Supreme People's Court (2025) Zui Gao Fa Min Shen No. 166. The specific situation is hereby announced as follows:

1. The basic situation of this lawsuit

Beijing Guanqun Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guanqun Company") filed a lawsuit with the Beijing Intellectual Property Court for infringement of computer software copyright with Beijing Kingsoft Office Software Co., Ltd. and Beijing Digital Technology Network Maintenance Technology Co., Ltd. In June 2024, the Beijing Intellectual Property Court rendered a first-instance judgment, rejecting all the claims of the plaintiff Guanqun, and the case acceptance fee was borne by the plaintiff Guanqun.

Dissatisfied with the first-instance judgment, Guanqun appealed to the Beijing Higher People's Court. In November 2024, the Beijing Higher People's Court rendered a second-instance judgment, rejecting the appeal and upholding the original judgment.

Recently, the company and the digital technology network maintenance received the (2025) Zui Gao Fa Min Shen No. 166 "Notice of Response" served by the Supreme People's Court, and Guanqun Company was dissatisfied with the (2024) Jing Min Zhong No. 913 second-instance civil judgment made by the Beijing High People's Court, so it applied to the Supreme People's Court for a retrial, and the Supreme People's Court has now filed the case for review.
