Inbound and outbound passenger traffic through China’s Hainan province this year had surpassed 2 million trips as of yesterday, marking a 22 percent increase from a year earlier, China Central Television reported, citing local border inspection authorities. The number of foreign visitors jumped 45 percent to more than 1.06 million, with 89 percent entering the island province under visa-free policies.
