Tesla [NASDAQ: TSLA] fell 3.8% in the after-hours trading after the US EV giant said its net profit shrunk 37% to USD1.4 billion in the third quarter from a year earlier, despite revenue widening 12% to USD28.1 billion, returning to growth after two straight quarters of decline.
