Chinese mainland-traded stocks closed higher today. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.2% at 3,996.94, briefly touching a 10-year high of 3,999, the Shenzhen Component Index climbed 1.5% to 13,489.4, and the ChiNext Index gained 2% to 3,234.45.
