The roof of #Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory is now fully covered with solar panels that can generate 11 million kWh of electricity annually, reducing carbon emissions by 4,600 tons, Vice President Grace Tao announced on Weibo today. Tesla's nearby Megafactory is also installing solar panels, which are expected to produce an additional 6 million kWh of power each year.
