Nongfu Spring's founder Zhong Shanshan was the wealthiest person in China again with a record net worth of CNY530 billion (USD74.4 billion) as of Sept. 1, followed by ByteDance's founder Zhang Yiming and Tencent's CEO Ma Huateng, according to the Hurun China Rich List 2025. Xiaomi's Chairman Lei Jun climbed to fifth after his wealth surged 151% to CNY326 billion (USD45.8 billion).
