Profits at China's state-owned and state-controlled enterprises narrowed 1.6% to CNY3.16 trillion (USD446 billion) in the first nine months of the year from a year earlier, according data from the finance ministry. Their total operating revenue rose 0.9% to CNY61.32 trillion (USD8.63 trillion).
