Tencent will stop marketing for Light of Motiram ahead of a major court hearing with Sony early next year, according to a court filing. Sony filed a copyright lawsuit in July 2024, alleging the open-world survival game copied its Horizon franchise. Tencent agreed to suspend all promotional activities and public tests and to not release the game before the fourth quarter in 2027.
