A 6.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Akqi county in Kizilsu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture, which lies in the westernmost corner of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at 3.44 p.m. today, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
