Police in Jiayu, Hubei province, recently issued a notice seeking the owner of a cryptocurrency wallet tied to an extortion case. The seized wallet holds about USDT1.9 million, worth roughly CNY13.6 million (USD1.9 million). If no one comes forward within six months, the funds will be transferred to the national treasury.
