JD.Com said today the Chinese e-commerce giant will invest CNY22 billion (USD3.1 billion) to provide 150,000 homes for parcel and food delivery riders over the next five years, with the housing initiative supported via a mix of leasing, self-built apartments, and a dedicated housing fund.
