Disney said yesterday it will invest USD1 billion in OpenAI and become the first major content-licensing partner on Sora, the ChatGPT maker's short-form generative video platform. Under a three-year deal, Sora can create short, user-prompted social videos featuring over 200 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars.
