Romoss was fined CNY1.2 million (USD174,270) for violating mandatory certification regulations and making false advertising yesterday by the Shenzhen Administration for Market Supervision, according to the bureau. The Chinese power bank maker recalled over 490,000 power banks in June this year due to safety issues.
