BYD said it is working with the Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Bureau and has begun comprehensive internal testing of L3 self-driving cars for mass production in the city, having completed more than 150,000 km of real-world road tests. The Chinese automaker was among the first nine firms approved last year for L3 autonomous driving access and road testing.
