Duty-free sales in Sanya topped CNY118 million, CNY105 million, and CNY108 million (USD16.8 million, USD14.9 million, and USD15.3 million) on the first three days of the Hainan Free Trade Port starting customs operations on Dec. 18, up 85%, 46%, and 47%, respectively, from a year ago, according to the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Commerce.
