Chinese carmakers' overseas sales are likely to top 7.5 to 10 million units by 2030, capturing 15% to 20% of the global market, according to a joint report released by Huaqi Institute and Roland Berger. The localization rate of Chinese carmakers remains relatively low, so the supply chain localization centered on autoparts needs further acceleration, it added.
