The annual value of stocks traded on the Chinese mainland markets topped CNY405 trillion (USD57.5 trillion) yesterday, surpassing CNY400 trillion for the first time. Nineteen individual stocks saw their trading volume exceed CNY1 trillion (USD142 billion) this year.
