China is projected to see an average of more than 2.1 million inbound and outbound trips per day during the three-day New Year holiday, a jump of 22.4% year-on-year, according to the National Immigration Administration. Passenger flows are expected to peak on the evenings of Dec. 31, 2025 and on Jan. 1, 2026.
