Baidu plans to spin off its AI chip unit Kunlunxin and list it independently in Hong Kong, the Chinese search engine giant said on Jan. 2. Kunlunxin, which submitted its listing application to the bourse on Jan. 1, is expected to remain a subsidiary of Baidu after the spin-off.
