Ikea China said today it will close seven stores in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Nantong, Xuzhou, Ningbo, and Harbin from Feb. 2, shifting from large-scale expansion to targeted growth, focusing on core markets, such as Beijing and Shenzhen, and opening over 10 smaller stores over the next two years.
