Baidu's Apollo Go has received Dubai's first permit for driverless vehicle trials from the Roads and Transport Authority, allowing the firm's fully unmanned self-driving autos to operate on designated public roads without a human safety driver, the Chinese autonomous ride-hailing platform said today.
